The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.

A number of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as television films.

His bibliography includes more than 40 books combined, including a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.

A Dual Career

His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
